The Big 7 Month Mark!

      Ole is truly growing into a little man.  He has the cutest laugh, loves to wrestle with dad, and started to really "book it" around the house with an awesome army style crawl!  We needed to baby proof and fast.  The primary colors play yard that takes up our entire living room may be a temporary solution, but it was a necessary one.  If you want to see him smile from ear to ear though, grab his hands and let him walk (yes, I said walk) around the house. Sure enough he steps one foot after the other and couldn't love it more.  We just want to make sure that he takes the time to crawl too!  This boy is just knocking milestones down left and right.  He is truly the light of our days.  He is such a fun and smiley guy, you can't help, but be happy around him.

Baby Boy Specs

• Weight:  At his 6 month visit, he weighed 18.4 (57%) pounds and was recently weighed at 19.0 lbs!
• Length: 99% = 29 inches.....not surprising!
• Head Circumference:  18 inches round (95%!)
• Clothing Size: He wears everything from his too tight 6 months green pants that I love so, to a 18-24 month pajama shirt with a dog on it that I just love too much for him not to wear it early!

Six Month Memories

• Favorite Toy: You know that toy that you break out when your child is about to start crying at an inopportune time?  For Ole, that toy is my wallet.  He loves it.  Loves it.  We set out a circle of about 20 toys to see what he would pick.  The wallet won.  It is truly his favorite toy.  I always knew he had a thing for teal.
• Firsts: This month Ole had a lot of firsts.  First trip to the zoo, first (and second) ferry ride, first (and second) trip overnight away from home.  It was a fun month to say the least.
• Embarrassing Baby: Ole is so so so smiley, that we hear all the time what a happy and cute guy he is.  At our family reunion recently, we heard it so much, we almost got embarrassed by all the attention.  But what can we say, he is just that smiley and cute, I guess!
• Nicknames: O, Son, Sugar, Smiley Pants, Babe
