HOW FAR ALONG? 6 weeks

GENDER: Surprise!

BABY IS THE SIZE OF A: A sweet pea (though I’m not entirely sure I know what a sweet pea’s size is!)

TOTAL WEIGHT GAIN: None yet!

MATERNITY CLOTHES? No, but it feels like I need it sometimes with all this belly bloat.

STRETCH MARKS? Not as long as I keep rubbing lotion on my belly (hopefully!)

MOVEMENT: Too small to feel just yet.

SLEEP: Considering that I spent the last week in the heat of Hawaii….not great sleep, but other than that all is well.  So excited to get our new mattress this weekend – restful night’s sleep here we come!

SYMPTOMS: My tatas are sooooooo sore in the morning and heaven forbid I swim in the warm Hawaiian ocean too long…they would just ache! Nothing like a little fatigue to round those symptoms out!

FOOD CRAVINGS: Mexican and quesadillas….I would love some queso right now!

ANYTHING MAKING YOU SICK? Unfortunately, yes.  No vomiting at all luckily, but it certainly feels like I might sometimes.  There is nothing worse than being starving, only to take 5 bites and realize that food in general makes you feel sick to your stomach.  Makes eating a particularly difficult adventure these days.

WEDDING RING ON OR OFF? On this week, except when we went swimming (did I mention it was in the warm Hawaiian Pacific Ocean waters?)

BELLY BUTTON IN OR OUT? IN!

WHAT I MISS:  I miss not feeling sick every time I eat anything.  I’m kind of past missing beer, but I am so exhausted from my one-hour-of-sleep-red-eye-straight-to-work flight that I am really missing coffee at this moment!  I could go without the sports bra at night business too….who knew my girls could hurt that bad!

WHAT I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO: Going back to Hawaii someday with a cute little babe in tow!  I couldn’t stop myself from buying a cute baby onesie from a tourist shop and my mom snuck an adorable Hawaiian beach hat into my bag when we left.

MILESTONES?  Mild “all day” sickness sounds like a milestone to me!  Doctor appointment around the corner as well!

BEST MOMENT THIS WEEK:Spending time with my sister, excited for cute cousins very soon!

*A little shave ice on Waikiki was just what our little sweet pea asked for!

*I was so in awe of my bloated belly that I had to document it!
